Tax Payment

What are the available modes of payment?

There are three available options for you to proceed with your payment, which are online, over the counter (cash & cheque) and Telegraphic Transfer.

What is required if we want to make tax payment online? (except payment for Stamp Duty)

You are only required to quote the Return ID of your filing which would be generated whenever you submit your Income Tax Return Form and Withholding Tax Form. Currently, only these two tax are available for online payment.

You may proceed with the payment to the following banks:

i) Standard Chartered Bank (SCB)

Other than online payment, where else can we make our payment? (Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax and Stamp Duty)

Payment can be made over the Revenue Counter, through cheques or cash, during office hours at;

NOTE: Crossed Cheque payable to the ‘Government of Brunei’.

Can payment be made via telegraphic transfer / Bank Draft?

Yes. When payment is being made, the remittance slip must contain the following information:-

 

i).        The company’s name

ii).       Return ID upon filing of Income Tax or Withholding Tax.

iii).      Purpose of payment.

 

Payment remitted must be in Brunei Dollars with instructions to the bank that the telegraphic transfer/bank charges will be borne by the applicant.
